NC Seafood Festival

WOW for 36 years the Morehead City waterfront has welcomed the NC Seafood Festival.   It has been my pleasure to volunteer for 6 of those years.  If you Sept 30-Oct. 3 2022

This festival promotes the positive social and economic impact of the seafood industry on the citizens of North Carolina.  It educates the public about seafood and its importance to the state economy.  It showcases a variety of seafood indigenous to North Carolina and provide the opportunity for people to enjoy it.

There is something for everyone.  Amazing crafts people selling their creations. There are rides for the kid, cooking displays, oyster shucking contest and music to enjoy!  Make sure you visit the working trawler at the dock.  Come on Sunday join and us at the port for the blessing of the fleet.

Last but not least EAT SOME SEAFOOD! Friends don’t let friends eat imported seafood.
